How to crochet a Snowflake Ornament

Let’s crochet snowflake ornaments while there is still snow outside! These crocheted snowflakes can be used as gift tags, Christmas tree ornaments or to hang on your window.

For the yarn, you can use any weight yarn in shades of white and cream. Or even one with a little silver sparkle in them. For my own snowflakes, I used medium weight yarn. If you use a thinner yarn, your snowflake ornaments will be smaller. For a display of snowflakes, it would be great to use different yarn to make different sized snowflake ornaments.
